As EMC regulations continue to become more stringent, transparent electromagnetic wave shielding offers a new approach to noise suppression and electromagnetic environment control in applications where visibility is required.
This presentation introduces a demonstration of a transparent electromagnetic wave shield.
“Transparent Electromagnetic Wave Shield” is a product developed by applying the metal-mesh–type transparent conductive film FineX®. As regulations related to EMC continue to tighten, this product can be proposed as a new approach for noise suppression and radio-wave environment design in areas and environments where visibility is required.
1. Demonstration Overview
The demonstration is designed to verify the performance of the transparent electromagnetic wave shield, assuming the following applications:
・Prevention of RFID interference
・EMS/EMI countermeasures for openings in industrial machinery
2. Demo System Configuration
・A sample with an attached tag is read using an RFID antenna.
・Tag readability varies depending on the box material.
